County Rural Schools by Townships

County Rural Schools are usually one-room schools located in rural areas. Prior to consolidation that took place around 1964, Townships were responsible for funding and operating rural school. A few larger communities had their own schools. These photos were taken about 1970 and reflect the status of the building at that time.
