We will accept most anything of some historic value. The preference would be for items pretaining to Portage County but, we have accepted items not relating to our county.
It is strongly advised that you contact us, see below, about any items you are considering for donation.
Of special interest is any history articles written about individuals, families, businesses, schools, activities, events, photographs and especially anything related to military service. Photographs and photo albums can be scanned and returned to you.
All submissions are considered the property of the Portage County Historical Society. If this is not possible, family collection as an example, allowing us to scan or photograph the items for our use will be considered also.
