SCHOOL REGULATIONS
St Peter's School

1. For want of space only children over 8 years old may be accepted to the parochial school.

2. All children attending the school shall be registered and every day roll of the scholars shall be called.

3. The registration or enrollment shall be made during the first week of the school term by the School Sisters.

4. Only children of parents who are actual paying members of the parish or on the poor list, shall be accepted to the school free of charge.

5. For school children of non-paying parishioners seventy-five cents per month school money shall be charged in advance, provided there will be space and accommodation for them in the school.

6. All scholars are required to be obedient, diligent and respectful to the teachers, and should behave well in and around the schoolhouse.

7. Any damage done by the pupils in or around the school house and yard must be paid for by the parents or guardians of the child; notice of damage done and names of culprits should be given by the teachers to the school supervisors and parents of the child.

8. During the school hours and recreations, the school house and the premises shall be under the charge and guard of the school Sisters, who in case of their absence shall appoint responsible pupils as watchmen.

9. After the school hours the janitor shall inspect the schoolhouse and yard and see that everything is in order.

10. A monthly school report shall be given each child to be signed by their respective parents or guardians. A child absent from school more than three times a month, without an excuse, or otherwise behaving unbecomingly, may be expelled from the parochial school.
